Inside Basilica del Voto National

The Basilica of the National Vow (Spanish: Basílica del Voto Nacional), also called the is a Roman Catholic church located in the historic center of Quito, Ecuador. It is sometimes also called the Catedral Consagración de Jesús or the Basílica de San Juan. It is the largest neo-Gothic basilica in the Americas. During our visit to the Basilica we climbed the stairs to the very top of one of the towers for a great view of the city.

    Beautiful Gothic architecture. This reminds me of the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.
