On the side of a long dirt load there is a hidden entrance that leads to forest through a corridor. Tucked away at the end of the trail is Finca del Paraiso. Here you will find a hot spring fed waterfall of hot water rushing into a pool of cool river water below. Finca del Paraiso is usually accessed from Rio Dulce, Guatemala which is a popular stopping point for Caribbean bound sail boats.

Boquete is located in the Province of Chiriqui, Panama’s most southwestern region.  Boquete lies 1,200 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level and it’s volcano, Baru, reaches an elevation of 4,000 meters. The Capital of the Chriqui Province is David, which is only a 45 minute drive from Boquete.  David is Panama’s third largest city (after Panama City and Santiago).  David has an international airport with flights to Panama City and San Jose, Costa Rica. Finca El Paraiso is a hot spring fed waterfall that falls into a cool river. It’s a popular spot for locals to picnic and you will see how dependent the indigenous are on the river. You can visit the falls by taking a 45 minute bus ride from the town of Rio Dulce, a popular moorage spot for people sailing in the Caribbean.
