On the side of a long dirt load there is a hidden entrance that leads to forest through a corridor. Tucked away at the end of the trail is Finca del Paraiso. Here you will find a hot spring fed waterfall of hot water rushing into a pool of cool river water below. Finca del Paraiso is usually accessed from Rio Dulce, Guatemala which is a popular stopping point for Caribbean bound sail boats.

Taquile is an island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca 45 km offshore from the city of Puno.  About 1,700 people live on the island, which is 5.5 by 1.6 km in size.  The island is divided into 6 sectors or suyus for crop rotation purposes.  The economy is based on fishing, terraced farming horticulture based on potato cultivation, and tourist-generated income from the approximately 40,000 tourists who visit each year.  Wikipedia

After a full day of hiking from the north part of the island to the south, we took a rest at a restaurant with an amazing view of Lake Titicaca.  The hours passed and the sun began to hide behind the horizon.  The sunset slowly revealed some amazing colors.
