Photo of the Day: Adobe Church in Bolivia

| Taken by Aracely | 3 Comments » | Photo of the Day

Our 4-Day Tupiza to Uyuni tour in Bolivia, South America was filled with unique landscapes. We captured snow capped mountains, snow dotted deserts, eroded mountain ranges, glowing lakes and most importantly the largest Salt Flats in the world, Salar de Uyuni.

This album is from day 1 of our tour, which departed from Tupiza (near the Argentina border) in a 4×4 Toyota Landcruiser.

Gorgeous photo! The blue sky is almost surreal. I hope to make it to Bolivia someday….

It is a bit surreal, but we also applied some digital editing to picture to provide a sense of curiosity or unknown. Great controversy surrounds Christianity and the indigenous, and we wanted to create that controversy in this image. Glad you guys like it, and yes there was digital editing done. ;-)

  2. Absolutely beautiful. Stumbled!
