Both were fantastic. The Vines of Mendoza was really a great place to get an overview of local wines and get advice of which wineries to visit. We spent a day in the Lujan de Cujo area (accessible by public bus) and that had some wineries with really unique wines and great tastings. Like you, we weren't overwhelmed by Mendoza as a city in and of itself, but it was a nice place to stop over and learn lots about Argentine wines. Thanks again for your advice!
